East-West Rail link is ready to roll

When the first phase of East West Rail (EWR) is re-activated in December 2017, it will be the largest single railway re-opening project in England since the 1960s. Nearly 50 miles of track will be brought back into use, or upgraded, to connect Bletchley and Milton Keynes with Oxford, Bicester, Bedford and Aylesbury.
